Our Timeline

2004: Deep Roots A pre-EverWatch Eric Loyd begins architecting and managing enterprise Nagios platforms, laying the groundwork for over two decades of Nagios domain leadership.

2006: Bitnetix is Formed Mr. Loyd founds Bitnetix Incorporated to provide outsourced IT management for small businesses and non-profits lacking dedicated IT staff. Nagios serves as a core component of the services offered.

2012: The Foundation Bitnetix becomes an official Nagios partner, offering direct license reselling and professional Nagios consulting. We deliver our first technical presentation at the 2012 Nagios World Conference, beginning an unbroken streak of speaking at every conference since.

2014: First MVP Recognition Principal Consultant Loyd earns his first Nagios MVP Award for outstanding contributions to the Nagios technical community.

2015: The Spin-Off of EverWatch To focus exclusively on Nagios, Bitnetix spins off EverWatch Global as a dedicated pure-play Nagios consultancy. Sally Reich - 2014 Nagios Conference presenter and Army veteran - is named CEO, while Loyd receives his second Nagios MVP Award and steps into the role of Principal Consultant and COO. We expand the team with additional elite Nagios MVPs, including Troy and Rob, solidifying our position as top-tier platform architects.

2020: Mission-Critical Support Through Shift As the COVID-19 pandemic forces organizations worldwide to rapidly adapt infrastructure for remote workforces, EverWatch works to keep critical enterprise monitoring platforms stable and responsive.

2021-2025: Community Accolades & Talent Expansion The Nagios World Conference returns, where Loyd earns his third Nagios MVP Award (tied for the most held globally). Over this period, our team earns top community honors, including winning the Nagios Log Server Dashboard Contest and receiving the Nagios Community Fanatic Award. In 2025, Nagios MVP award winner Janice joins our consulting team.

2026: All-Star Honors & Official Training Partnership With Nagios MVP Award winner Sam joining the team, nearly a third of all worldwide Nagios MVP awards now belong to EverWatch consultants. Two team members earn Nagios All-Star recognitions - two out of only five awarded globally - and Nagios Enterprises selects EverWatch Global as an official Nagios training partner.
