Hosted Nagios

The fastest way to get up and running with Nagios*

EverWatch™ is pleased to announce that Nagios Enterprises chose us as one of the first companies to offer Hosted Nagios services. That means we'll be your hosted monitoring provider, just like you probably host your email or web service with a third party.

Gone are the days of setting up, configuring, and maintaining a Nagios platform. Most importantly, gone are the days of paying for renewals and support contracts or wondering if you're overpaying for capacity. With EverWatch's Hosted Nagios Monitoring Platform, you only pay for what you use. Simply add the number of total hosts and services configured and your monthly bill will be based on that. Just like scoops of ice cream, the more you have, the more you pay. Every month, we'll automatically bill your credit card or make an ACH withdrawal from your bank account and you'll continue to receive Nagios monitoring without having to pay for a Nagios license. We can do this one of two ways:

  1. Our cloud-based platform probes your publicly available equipment and private equipment through an approved firewall hole. In the case of machines that need agents installed, we'll work with you to determine the best approach and security techniques. You will have full access to log into our Nagios XI Enterprise interface and see everything that's happening on your devices. As an optional add-on, we'll grant you the ability to add/remove/change things on your own (the details are still fuzzy on this).

  2. You provision a machine inside your network and we install Nagios on it using our special license key. Just like our cloud-based version, we'll set it up to monitoring whatever you need, and assist with agent selection, installation, and configuration. You'll have access to the Nagios interface and can add/remove/change things, and we'll work out who's responsible for management of the server itself.

We can also combine these two approaches (or come up with others) if neither is a perfect match.
